About Elaine

Hey there! My name is Elaine, and I’m an artist from Southern Georgia.

I grew up in Maysville, Georgia, on 23 acres with a family that always loved the outdoors and encouraged my creativity. I went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Working as a web designer in Atlanta for a few years, I took every chance I could to have a brush in my hand—spending summers painting with a local muralist and later painting the scenery for miniature train layouts.

It wasn’t until I met my now-husband, Richey, that I found the courage to pursue a career as a professional artist. Now, we live in Riddleville, Georgia, with our two daughters, Lucy and Bonnie, four dogs, and seven chickens. I appreciate the bright stars of the night sky, the abundant wildlife, and the peaceful pace of country life.
