About Jessica

Hey there, my name is Jessica Sebok and I am a Midwest-based painter specializing in acrylic, oil, and watercolor portraits. I’ve been creating custom heirloom portrait paintings for families since 2015 after earning my BFA in studio art, concentration in painting and drawing.

I’ve been painting wedding photos and couples portraits for nearly a decade as a commission-based artist, but in recent years I’ve been enjoying the interactive and personal experience of painting live at weddings and events. The thrill of painting for people to watch in real time is so fun for me and I fell in love with this work! My painting style is loose and chunky while making sure those small details capture the moment and the feel of each event. At some weddings I’ve started collaborating with the younger guests, they get to add some brushstrokes and be a part of process! 

Celebrating the union of two souls who’ve decided to brave this world together is an honor for me. I can’t wait to tell more stories of love and commitment with my paintbrush!
